CV/Resume Refresher & Feedback Session

Service Description

In this session together we will review your CV/Resume and tailor it based on your current career goals. I will ask fact-finding questions to ensure the right level and detail of information is available for your important reader - i.e. your new boss! Why are CVs/Resumes still important?... - This may be your first and ONLY direct communication with a potential employer / head-hunter - Recruiters typically spend 5-10 seconds reviewing it, if they can't understand what you do, or don't like the format they read it in - they won't call you to check... - Internally, CVs/Resumes may be used by your current employer to match you to more relevant roles, or gear you up for your next promotion - Key words are especially important in your CV/Resume to ensure it is found in recruiter and employer searches, if you don't have them in your CV/Resume they will remain buried! - Application tracking systems sift CVs/Resumes according to key words and linked phrases - if they are not there.. your CV/Resume will simply not be reviewed regardless of whether you are the best person for the job or not! - The more complete & relevant & succinct your CV/Resume is - the more likely a recruiter/head-hunter will contact you - Your CV/Resume will be reviewed by 100s of people in your career, it is important to make sure it looks professional and sells you in the best possible light! I will help to make sure the most relevant key words to your area of expertise are on your CV/Resume. By doing this, your CV/Resume will be more searchable and you are more likely to receive call-backs / 1st stage interviews. I will give practical pointers, advice, suggestions and examples to ensure your CV/Resume presents you in the best possible light and is irresistible to potential recruiters or hiring managers! We can focus on a more general and practical CV/Resume that can then be tweaked according to each job application, or tailor it for a particular job search - you decide! This session includes: - A 60 minute tailored CV/Resume review & feedback & practical advice from a professional head-hunter (virtual session) - & up to 2 x 15 minute reviews (video / email / call )
