In this session, we will review and tailor your CV based on your career goals. I will ask detailed questions to ensure the right level of information is available for your new employer or new career path. Why are CVs still important? - This may be your first and often only direct communication with a potential employer or head-hunter. - Recruiters typically spend just 5-10 seconds reviewing it, so clarity and format are crucial if you want to get a call back. - Internally, CVs may be used by your current employer to match you to more relevant roles, or prepare you for your next promotion - Key words are essential to ensure your CV is found in recruiter and employer searches. - Applicant tracking systems filter based on key words and phrases. Without these, your CV may not even get reviewed. - A complete, relevant and succinct CV increases the likelihood of recruiter/ head-hunter contact. - Your CV will be reviewed by people throughout your career, so it must look professional and present you in the best light. I will help ensure the most relevant keywords for your expertise are included, making your CV more searchable and increasing your chances of receiving call-backs and interviews. I will provide practical pointers, advice, suggestions, and examples to ensure your CV presents you in the best possible light, making it irresistible to recruiters and hiring managers.
